Honey Almond Granola

Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup sliced almonds (or whole, chopped almonds)
  • ½ cup Alvari Creamed Honey with Cacao & Almond
  • ¼ cup coconut oil (or olive oil)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a small saucepan, gently heat the creamed honey with cacao & almond and coconut oil until melted and smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.

  3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the oats, almonds, salt, and cinnamon.

  4. Mix Together: Pour the honey-cacao mixture over the oats and almonds. Stir well until everything is coated.

  5. Bake: Spread the granola evenly on the baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown.

  6. Cool: Remove from the oven and let the granola cool completely to crisp up.

  7. Serve or Store: Once cooled, store in an airtight container and enjoy with yogurt, milk, or as a snack!
